Stuck in Hibernation

I am using 5384, few weeks ago, After I press the "hibernate" , my computer will hibernate as normal, the indication lights are all off. On this week when a press the "hibernate", the indication lights wont go off and the computer wont power off, I pressed many keys and it doesn't react. I waited for few minutes then i have to press the big button for 7 seconds to shut it down. I start the computer again and it wont resume from the hibernation. Can anyone help me to solve this problem please?
I am using:
LG Notebook PC S1-P222A5
Intel Core Duo T2400 1.83Ghz Ati Radeon X1600 512M HyperMemory 512MB DDR2 + 512MB DDR2 100GB SATA

Here's the thing, security minded people don't use the hybernate function, in fact they disable it at the get go, and delete the hybrefil. files. Alot of people are having problems with sleep/hybernate, but that's because it isn't a top priority. My experience with vista, thus far, is that the active functions, and media/program compatibilty and hardware compatibility are the greatest concerns, for now. Functionality is of far greater importance,at the moment, than saving a few watts.I have a feeling that power saver worries will take last place.

On a more helpful note, start in safemode, disable hybernation.

The irony there is that when you open the start menu, where you're used to seeing the "logoff" and "shutdown" options, in vista you have "hybernate" and "lock" - you have to click a much smaller button to the side and select shutdown or restart if that is what you wish to do.
This brings me to something else I'm pondering - in my work environment we have a few startup and shutdown scripts that we like to run pretty regularly due to restricted access for the staff - I need to be able to change these buttons else the users will not shutdown on as regular a basis as they do currently. -- --------------------- Bastard Sheep http://bastardsheep.blogspot.com/
